Debra “Deb” A. Eliasen (nee Kozlowski), 63, a resident of Roselle and formerly of Wood Dale was born on June 6, 1956 in Chicago to Stanley and Lillian (nee Curno) and passed away peacefully on May 30, 2020 in Elk Grove Village with her loving sister by her side. She attended Fenton High School and graduated in 1974. Deb attended Elgin Community College and obtained her RN license in 1984. She worked as an hospital RN nurse, Director of Home Care Nursing, and RN Audit Home Coder in the Chicagoland area throughout her career, whilst supporting her daughter, Becky and finding love with her husband, Blair, to whom she wed in 2005.

Deb will be remembered for many things including her love of The Moody Blues and The Beatles; her fondness for playing the Eb clarinet for local community bands and local theater groups; her interest in all things “Disney” and her passion for the Chicago Blackhawks. She also had a soft spot for animals as she rescued a few cats including Missy, Effer and Cupcake.

Adoring wife of Blair; loving mother of Becky Lange (Dan Gill); dear sister of Sandra (Roger) Arms and Pam (Al) Bills; fond aunt of Jeff (Dawn) Arms and Charles (Megan) Bills; beloved great aunt to Amelia, Sarah, Kyle, Macauley and Finleigh, adoring second mom to Nina Trader and Emma Lange, dear friends to many. She will be missed by all those whose lives she touched, especially her good friends Sue, Lou, Robin and Louise whom were more than friends but family.

In lieu of flowers, memorials in Debra’s name to Mission of Our Lady of the Angels; American Kidney Fund; Chicagoland Animal Rescue or your local school’s music or theater program.
