With deepest sorrow, we announce that Miguel A. Agosto, our most beloved son, brother, family member, wonderful father and friend passed away suddenly on Saturday, October 12, 2019 while in the hospital in Park Ridge.

Those who knew Miguel, even just a little lost a shining light in their lives. Miguel will be missed everyday by his son, Michael Angel Agosto, age 14; daughter, Gabrielle Nicole Agosto, age 11; and their mother Ana I. Agosto; Miguel’s best friend, his children’s godfather and godmother, “Brother”, cousin and confidant whom he trusted and dearly loved, Victor Agosto, J.R. and his lovely wife Nelly Agosto; sister Candice, who referred to Miguel as “Brother” and whose love for him was undeniable; his grandparent Ella, better known as “mama”; his parents Michael and Maria, we will always love you and miss you our son; his loving aunts, Carmen and Martha and Uncle Victor; cousins and many, many great friends. We know that Miguel is now with his “Grandma Jennie”.

The Lord built us a son and father. His name is Miguel.
The Lord built us a Man.
Who was strong enough to know when he was weak, and brave enough to face himself when he was afraid. One who would be proud, even in defeat and humble and gentle in victory. He was a son, father and brother who will be known and loved by many.
A man whose heart was clean, whose goals were high; a son who would master himself before he attempted to master others; someone who learned to laugh, yet never forgot how to weep; a jewel who will reach into the future and yet never forget the past.

JOY
It is frequently stated that joy will cometh in the morning. However, in Miguel’s case, joy came on September 30, 1970 in the evening.
We will never forget you old soldier! Travel well towards your journey to paradise.
