Jeanette Aldridge (nee Freeman), 82, a resident of Friendship Village for 4 years and longtime resident of Schaumburg was born on September 10, 1934 in Chicago to the late Howard and the late Marguerite (nee Chartier) and passed away peacefully on July 6, 2017 at her home in Friendship Village.

Jeanette was an avid Bingo and Bunco player and was a “die-hard” Blackhawks, Bulls and Cubs fan. She loved cooking and had many happy memories with her family around the kitchen table. She enjoyed working in her son’s medical office and made many wonderful friends there. Most of all she loved her children, grandkids and great-grandkids.
Jeanette was the loving mother of Joseph Mercola, Jean (Frank) Birner, Carol (Dennis) Coghlin, Janet (Ken) Selvig and James (Maria) Mercola; fond grandmother of Jackie (Kevin), Kevin, Patrick, Sarah, Jacob, Joshua, Alison and Amanda; proud great-grandmother of Owen and Kaitlyn; dear sister of the late Ernest and her late twin Gene; dear friend to many. Anneliese Emma Siegert (nee Schroeder), 82, a resident of Roselle for 46 years and formerly from Chicago, was born on February 6, 1935 in Winsen/Luhe Germany, to the late Otto and the late Antonie (nee Hilmer) and passed away peacefully on Friday, June 30, 2017, at her home accompanied by her loving daughter and close family friend.

In the mid 1950’s she followed her soulmate Manfred “Mauli” Siegert to the U.S., settling in the Midwest and eventually working as a seamstress. Anneliese and Mauli spent 53 playful and loving years together until she was widowed in 2011. She was the adoring mother “mama” of Andrea; dear sister of Hans Werner Schroeder and Hanna Semat, both of Winsen/Luhe Germany; along with the late Otto Schroeder, Lisa Bartkowski and Waltraut Waldek of Winsen/Luhe Germany; and a dear friend to many others.

She was known for her playful nature, contagious laugh, her entertaining directness, passion for gardening and unwavering love of family. She will be missed by all whose lives she touched.

John Eugene Segreti, Jr., 94, a resident of Schaumburg for 47 years and formerly of Chicago was born on November 21, 1922 in Chicago to the late John, Sr. and the late Christine (nee DeRose), and passed away peacefully on July 4, 2017 in Hoffman Estates with his loving family by his side.

John was a proud US Army WWII veteran and was a “die hard” Cubs fan who lived long enough to see them finally win the World Series.

John was the adoring husband of 73 years to Santa (nee Musillami); loving father of Donald (Lucy) Segreti and Sandra Arvanitakis; fond grandfather of Jason (Deana) Segreti, Gregory (Melanie) Arvanitakis and Michelle (William) Hannah; proud great-grandfather of Stephanie and Sean Segreti, Timothy and Chloe Arvanitakis, and Gabriel and Caden Hannah; dear friend to many, he will be missed by all those whose lives he touched.

Susan “Sue” G. Anderson (Nee Malthe), 65, a resident of Schaumburg was born on July 10, 1951 in Chicago to the late Harvey and the late Dorothy (nee Korkowski). After a courageous nine month battle with Ovarian Cancer, in the early morning of June 14, 2017, with dignity and grace, Sue peacefully passed.

Sue loved knitting, reading, traveling and most of all spending time with her grandchildren. Sue was the adoring wife of 10 years to Kenneth Kendzora and previously 28 years to the late Joseph; loving mother of Erika (Todd) Williams and David (Julie) Anderson; beloved grandmother of Aiden, Mason, Tristan and Colton; dear sister of Sharon (Jim) Timmer and the late Linda (John) Franz; aunt to several nieces and nephews and a special friend to many, she will be missed by all those whose lives she touched.

Jerry was a life-long Cubs fan and enjoyed coaching his sons in baseball and basketball. He was an avid history buff and unbeatable at Trivial Pursuit. He was a proud member of the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers for 35 years.

Dolores Pastuch was the only child born to the union of Magdalin and Michael Pastuch on May 26, 1930. She passed away peacefully June 1, 2017. She attended school in Hamtramck, Michigan.

Dolores later relocated to the Chicagoland area. She worked for Motorola for 26 years as a Team Leader. Her family and friends described her as loving, caring, active, strong, hardworking, goodhearted and smart. She enjoyed helping her family and delighted in babysitting her grandchildren. Dolores looked forward to dining out and shopping.

Left behind to cherish her memory are three children, Cheryl Boyd, Clyde Jr., and Pamela Wolley. Four grandchildren, Terrell, Clyde III and Natasha Wolley and Tamika Boyd. One great-granddaughter Violet Edley.

Margol, 82, of Arlington Heights for 23 years and formerly of Toledo, Ohio was born on December 2, 1934 in Youngstown, OH to the late Stanley and the late Helen (nee Osolenski), and passed away peacefully on May 30, 2017 in Arlington Heights. Alfred proudly served his country in the US Army for 3 years, stationed in Korea. He was a clinical psychologist practicing at the Toledo Mental Health Center in Toledo, OH.

Alfred was the adoring husband of 50 years to the late Elaine (nee Kenash); loving father of Elaine (Bobby) Panek and Renee (the late David) Cenan; dear “Poppy” to his precious granddaughters Isabella and Elizabeth Cenan; fond brother of Mildred Politsky, Natalie Simchick and the late Helen Reith; beloved uncle and friend to many. He loved his Cleveland Browns, Chicago Bulls, fine jazz and most of all his family. He will be deeply missed.
