William “Bill” E. Enzenbacher, 96, a resident of Schaumburg for 40 years and formerly of Des Plaines for 20 years, was born on March 15, 1924 in Chicago to Gustave and Tekhla (nee Hargrove) and passed away peacefully on March 24, 2020 in Elk Grove Village. Bill was a proud US Navy Veteran who served in WWII as a Supply Clerk stationed in Australia and Hawaii. He was a member of the Schaumburg YMCA.

Bill was the adoring husband of the late Betty Jane; loving father of the late William, Jr. (Linda), Ronald (Kathi), Karl and Karen Dobson; fond grandfather of 14; proud great grandfather of 18; youngest surviving brother of 5; dear uncle and friend to many. He will be missed by all those whose lives he touched.

Donald “Don” C. Carroll, 86, a resident of Schaumburg since 1970 and formerly of Forest Park and Chicago, was born on January 16, 1934 in Chicago to Ralph and Edith (nee Faye) and passed away peacefully on March 18, 2020 at his home in Schaumburg with his loving family by his side after a battle with mesothelioma.

He leaves behind his loving wife of 53 years Lorraine (nee Eastman); adoring daughter Lisa and beloved sons Dan (Ronnie) and Chris (Jennifer); cherished grandchildren Brian, Brittney, Alex, Sierra and Erin; caring brother Bill (Fran); dear sister in law Ruth; and several fond nephews and nieces. He was preceded in death by his brothers Ralph and Norm.

Don was a retired industrial and commercial real estate appraiser. He proudly served in the US Army in Korea. He was an avid reader, loved history, and enjoyed traveling, especially to Ireland and Paris. Above all else he was always there for his children and grandchildren.

A memorial service will be planned for a later date.

Mallory ‘”Mal” Joan Fritz, 24, was born on October 2, 1995 in Arlington Heights to her loving parents Glenn and Veronica (nee Shepherd). She was raised in Streamwood and passed away suddenly February 28, 2020 at her home. A 2014 graduate of Streamwood High School, she was Homecoming Queen in her senior year. She loved her family, animals and bringing joy and laughter to everyone with her bright smile. She volunteered at local soup kitchens and food pantries through the honors program at ECC. She knew no strangers and had the kindest and most wonderful soul.

Dearest sister of Ben; fond granddaughter of the late Robert (Pat) Shepherd and the late Harold (the late Shirley) Fritz and her beloved “Aunt Peg”; more than 30 cousins held a special place in Mal’s heart; dear friend to many. She will be missed by all those whose lives she touched, including her dogs “Leroy” and “Boston”.

Michael P. Cassin, 68, a resident of Schaumburg for 25 years and formerly of Hoffman Estates and Des Plaines, was born on September 21, 1951 in Chicago to the late James and Adrienne (nee Huges) he grew up in Des Plaines. He passed away peacefully February 23, 2020 in Elk Grove Village with his loving wife and daughter by his side. He was a proud member of IBEW #134 for 50 years. He was an avid White Sox and Bears fan and his life revolved around his grandchildren.

Michael was the adoring husband of 21 years to Cyndy Rogers; loving father of Jammie (Kyle) Miller, Michael and Jessica (Michael) Musillami; fond grandfather of Caden, Mikey and Baby Miller; dear brother of Terry (Rae), Jeffrey (Chris) and the late Danny (Mary); beloved uncle and dear friend to many. He will be missed by all those whose lives he touched, especially his Labrador “Marley”.

Matt K. Maish, 76, a resident of Clare Oaks, Bartlett and formerly of Schaumburg for 44 years was born on August 17, 1943 to Joe and Erma (nee Anderson), and passed away suddenly on February 21, 2020 at his home in Bartlett. A 1967 graduate of Purdue University School of Veterinary Medicine, Matt owned and operated the Wise Road Animal Hospital in Schaumburg from 1984 until his retirement in 2008. He proudly served as a Captain in the US Army during the Vietnam War, stationed both in the US and abroad in Okinawa Island, Japan. Matt was a very active member of Roselle United Methodist Church. He worked very hard to ensure a good life for his children, grandchildren and great grandchildren. He enjoyed spending time at his cabin in Wisconsin and with his family.

Matt was the adoring husband of 48 years to the late Gail (nee Warren); loving father of Vicki, David (Susi), Tom (Jaime), Michael (Emily); fond grandfather of Josh, Alexis, Chris, Madison, Joseph, Ema, Keira, Elly and Kacey; proud great-grandfather of Talon and Kendyll; dear brother of Lynn (Teresita) Maish; loving uncle and friend to many, he will be missed by all those whose lives he touched.

Rita T. Dini, 91, a resident of Friendship Village, Schaumburg passed away on February 21, 2020. She was born in Chicago on May 14, 1928 to Davino and Josephine (nee Tambellini) Marcheschi. On April 23, 1949 she married the love of her life Anthony “Tony” Dini at St. Gregory Church in Chicago.

In addition to her husband Tony of 70 years, she is survived by her children David (Patti) Dini, Denise Parsons, and Marie (Michael) Circo. Nonne Rita will be missed by her grandchildren Katie (Drew) Rust, Robert (the late Heather) Parsons, Julie (Michael) Davis, Angela (Joey) Jenkins, and Natalie (Gregory) Hackl, and her 14 great-grandchildren. Rita was preceded in death by her sister Primetta (the late Thomas) Hoban, granddaughter Jamie Dini, and infant great-grandson Aloysius Michael Davis.
