Wisniewski (nee Krzykacz), 93, a resident of Schaumburg since 1971 and formerly of the south side of Chicago was born on December 2, 1925 in Chicago to Adam and Harriet (nee Betlejewski) and passed away peacefully on July 8, 2019 at her home in Schaumburg. She was an active parishioner of St. Marcelline Church and was a member of the Women’s Club.

Edna was the adoring wife of 61 years to the late Aloysius; loving mother of Ellen (Enrique) Sanchez, Ralph (Lani Stasko), Lois (Denise Izatt) and Mark (Samantha); fond grandmother of Randy, Rick, Amy, the late Brian, Alissa, Megan, Trevor, Stephanie, Jennifer and Emely; proud great grandmother of Mia, Ava, Lauren, Brady, Nathan and Oliver; dear cousin and friend to many. She will be missed by all those whose lives she touched.

Calder (nee Hackl), 94, a resident of Schaumburg since 1966 was born on June 11, 1925 in Passau, Germany to Heinrich and Theresia (nee Keolbl), and passed away peacefully on July 10, 2019 in Park Ridge with her loving daughter by her side. She enjoyed cooking, knitting and lunch with her friends in the “Velvet Club”.

Frieda was the adoring wife of 40 years to the late George; loving mother of Margaret Mathias, George (Cathy), Walter (Laura), Eva Muhr and Werner (Donna); fond grandmother of 14; proud great grandmother of 9; dear sister of Rudolf (Anne Marie) Hackl; dear aunt and friend to many. Robert E. Healer, 91, a resident of Schaumburg for 48 years and formerly of Chicago was born on July 24, 1927 in Chicago to John (Martha (nee Lesnaw)) Uzdrowski, and passed away peacefully on July 7, 2019 in Hoffman Estates with his loving daughter by his side. He was a proud Army Air Corps Veteran and was an avid golfer, skier and fisherman. A devoted White Sox and Bears fan, he also enjoyed playing cards and shooting pool at the Schaumburg Senior Center and loved being with family and friends.

Robert was the adoring husband of 67 years to Jeannette (nee Schussler); loving father of the late Ronald (Jean) and Carol (Jim) Ringemann; fond grandfather of Kristen (Jeff) Tait and Lauren Ringemann; proud great grandfather of Ethan and Liam Tait; beloved brother of 5; dear uncle and friend to many. James Grant Molitor, 79, a resident of Elgin for 11 years and formerly of Schaumburg was born on July 28, 1939 in Chicago, IL, to George and Anna Marie (nee Morrison), and passed away peacefully on June 30, 2019 in Elk Grove surrounded by his loving family. James lived for his wife, family and his grandkids. Watching and being part of their activities and hearing about them were his greatest achievements.

Rita Mae Maday (nee Perry), 94, of Bartlett, Illinois entered heavenly rest June 6th, 2019. Born in Ionia, New York, she was the wife of the late Stephen Richard Maday Sr. for 50+ years. She enjoyed knitting, crocheting, and children, having been a foster mother to over 100 children over 20 years.

Mother of Mark Thomas, Barbara(James)Beck, and Melissa(John)Sheldon, the late James Alan, the late Stephen Richard Jr. and the late Eileen Frances. She had 13 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren.

Frederick (Fred) W. Bornkamp, born May 2, 1943, age 76, a longtime Rockford resident, passed away Saturday June 8, 2019, at Lexington of Schaumburg. Fred grew up in New Jersey and graduated from Hawthorn High School in 1961. He went on to attend Aurora (College) University in Aurora, IL, for undergraduate studies and received his Master’s Degree in Education from Springfield College in Springfield, MA. Fred began his career as a baseball and soccer coach at Aurora University before moving to the Stateline to teach and coach at Rockford (College) University. After a successful tenure with the “Regents,” Fred transitioned to the private sector and began working in Human Resources at Sundstrand (United Technologies) where he was employed for twenty years.

In retirement, Fred was instrumental in organizing his high school reunions as well as the AU Class of ’65 forty-fifth class reunion. He loved eating dinner at Lino’s, golfing at Sandy Hollow, and picking apples in the fall at Edward’s Orchard.

Gifted athlete, coach, umpire, AYSO Commissioner, Guilford High School Booster Club President – Fred spent many hours on both sides of the ball. It was his life’s passion.

He is survived by Joyce (Thompson) Bornkamp. Daughters: Suzanne (Ryan) McCoy and Amy Bornkamp. Son: Joel (Steffanie) Bornkamp. Grandchildren: Jack, Nick, and Luke McCoy. Mother: Anna Bornkamp. He was preceded in death by his father Frederick Bornkamp and his brother Bruce Bornkamp.

Fred’s family would like to thank the staff of Morningstar Village, Westbrook Senior Living, Lexington of Schaumburg, and Lexington Hospice for the compassion and care he received.
