Genevieve “Jean” V. Zwierzyna (nee Kiolbassa), 88, a resident of Belvidere, IL was born on March 14, 1930 in Chicago to the late Anthony and the late Agatha (nee Jastrzebski), and passed away peacefully on April 25, 2018 at her home in Belvidere. Jean was a proud member of St. James Catholic Church in Belvidere.

She was the adoring wife of the late Joseph; loving mother of Lynda (the late John) Epperson, Joyce (the late Jim) Creighton, the late Daniel (Jamie) and Nancy (Don) Bergman; fond grandmother of John and Billy Epperson, Brandon (Nicole) Creighton, Heather (Chris) Anthony, Nick Zahler, Jeniece (Michael) Goellner and Randall and Lindsey Bergman; proud great grandmother of Erini and Nefeli Creighton and Grace Goellner; dear sister of Lilian Suter and the late Helen (the late John) Gleixner; sister-in-law, aunt and dear friend to many. She will be missed by all those whose lives she touched.

Marguerite Dorothy Weaver (nee Aylward) 91, a resident of Elk Grove Village for 10 years and formerly of Palatine and Arlington Heights, passed away quietly in her sleep at home on April 22, 2018 in Elk Grove Village.

She was born on May 2, 1926 in Milwaukee, Wisconsin to the late Dr. Thomas J. Aylward II and the late Dorothy (nee Leary). She loved horses, singing, dancing, swimming twice a week for over 20 years, and her garden club. She was a dedicated member of TOPS. She was a volunteer election judge, and was active in politics through women’s and local groups. She and her daughter Mary owned and ran a mailing business.

Marguerite was the adoring wife of twenty-five years to the late Lawrence E. Weaver, loving mother of Mary (Lee) Gouwens, John T. Weaver, DO, Ann Weaver PhD (John Heidemann) and Paul Weaver; beloved grandmother of Sarah, Thomas, and Kenneth Gouwens; fond sister of the late Thomas J. Aylward Jr., PhD. Cousin of Patricia Ley and Cathleen Koch and the late Ward Brady; loving aunt to Mary Miller, Thomas (Jane) Aylward, Kathleen Baker, Matthew (Maureen) Aylward, Peter (Natalie) Aylward, Anne Marie (Brook) Richards, Wendy Aylward, Lex (Christine), Lynn and Brad Shwaiko, Tony (Mary Ellen) and Larry A. (Tracey) Weaver, and a dear friend to many. She will be deeply missed by all those whose lives she touched.

David “Dave” Lee Perry, 62, a resident of Elk Grove Village for 11 years was born on October 29, 1955 in Oceana, West Virginia to Henry and Jewell Perry (nee Hawley) and passed away peacefully on April 19, 2018 in Elk Grove Village. He was proud to be from West Virginia and was a Mountaineers fan. He was a member of Prince of Peace Lutheran Church in Schaumburg. He was an avid bowler and a member of the United States Bowling Congress.

Dave was the adoring husband of 11 years to Lynette Perry (nee Burmeister); loving father of Jaime (Frank) Milton, Brandy (Spiro) Giotis, Andrew Perry, Kelsey Perry, Janelle (Max) Krider, Emmalyn (Jonathan) Laxton, John (Sara) Champion and Graham Champion; fond grandfather of Briana Zodda, Thomas Giotis, Sophia Giotis and Aaron Krider; Dear Brother of Henrietta Kuehne and Gary (Donna) Perry; beloved uncle and a friend to many during his journey. He will be missed by all those whose lives he touched, including his favorite dog companion, Bobo.

Francis “Frank” Erdman, 83, a resident of Schaumburg since 1969 and formerly of Addison, Illinois was born on September 23, 1934 to the late Francis and the late Agnes and passed away peacefully on April 15, 2018 in Friendship Village.

Frank was a proud US Army veteran serving from 1957-1959. He enjoyed bowling, fishing in Wisconsin and working on his computer. He was the adoring husband of 50 years to Geraldine (nee Jablonski); dear brother of Christine (the late Edward) Daigle; fond uncle of James, David, Arthur and Lisa; dear friend to many. He will be missed by all those whose lives he touched, including his friend John Marik.

James “Jim” D. Grant, 70, a resident of Schaumburg and formerly of Joliet and Northbrook was born on November 20, 1947 in Chicago to the late John Grant and the late Alma Grant (nee Piskorz) and passed away peacefully April 12, 2018 in Schaumburg with his loving daughter by his side.

Jim was proud to have served as a fireman for the Northbrook Fire Department, Engine #4, he was an avid fisherman and golfer, loved model trains and building scale models, particular of fire engines. Throughout his life he was considered a rugged, enthusiastic worker who would tackle anything and everything. He was always upbeat and enjoyed making others smile with his positive “have a really nice day” attitude, despite having suffered through many health issues the last few years.

He was the loving father of Tanya (Rich) Pierce, Kristen Williams and Lauren (Dan) Sturwold; fond grandfather of Dante and Bryce Williams and Audrey and Quentin Sturwold; proud great grandfather of Matthew Williams-Marban and Isaiah and Kahne Williams; dear brother of Jean Salazar, Joan Barnes, John Grant and Janet (Geoff) Cowles; beloved uncle to many nieces and nephews; dear friend to many. He will be missed by all those whose lives he touched.

Isabel was the beloved wife of Jorge Magnani and a loving Mother to Humberto, Jorge, and Gabriella. She is survived by her husband, three kids, six grandchildren, and a great-grand son.

During her life, Isabel was a very loving wife, mother, sister and daughter. Her kind heart and brilliant spirit touched the lives of those whom she met. She will be very missed and eternally loved by her family and friends.

Linda enjoyed owning and running the Learning Circle Pre-School for over 10 years.
