Lillian B. Fura (nee Golombiewski), 94, a resident of Friendship Village for 5 years and formerly of Chicago was born on December 4, 1923 in Grenville, SD to the late August and the late Anna (nee Ewalt) she passed away peacefully May 15, 2018 at her home in Friendship Village.

Lillian was the adoring wife of 44 years to the late Alfred; loving sister of six, she was preceded in death by James Miotek, Ben (Sophie) Miotek, Anna (Frank) Sypinski, August “Gus” Golombiewski, Sophie (Ted) Gruszka and Joseph (Loretta) Golombiewski; dear cousin to the late Anne (the late Stanley) Boik Dul; fond aunt to many nieces and nephews and dear friend to many. She will be missed by all those whose lives she touched.

Roger “Willie” G. Williams, 82, Retired SKCM USN, of Schaumburg, Illinois, was born on June 22, 1935 in Cedar Rapids, Iowa to the late Glenn and the late Dorothy (nee Rogers) and passed away peacefully on May 12, 2018 in Elk Grove Village, surrounded by his loving family.

Roger’s career began with a 20+ year enlistment in the United States Navy. A career that took him around the world, making lifelong friends along the way. He ultimately earned the Rank of Master Chief. After retirement in 1975 Roger embarked on another twenty-year career with Sprint Telecommunication formally Centel. Roger’s sense of duty didn’t stop with his work. He also dedicated his time to local politics. For 25 years Roger sat on several boards within the Village of Schaumburg. Planning Committee, Bikeways Committee, and eventually served as Chairman of The Zoning Board of Appeals. Settling down in Schaumburg afforded him opportunities to cultivate his hobby of growing tomatoes, and other vegetables. His nurturing and patient demeanor yielded him the most succulent toasted tomato sandwiches, with extra pepper of course.

Willie was the dedicated and adoring husband of 60 years to Katherine (nee Ramsdell); nurturing and protective father of Debra (James) Teufel, Roger II, David (Maggie), Daniel (Lori). Loving grandfather of Katie Parker (Jim), Kevin Teufel, Michael Teufel, Alyssa, Ryan, Trevor, Trenton, Tommy and Abby: proud Great Grandfather of Brooklyn Parker and Nicholas Parker. Roger is survived by his older brother Terry (Kathy) and proceeded in death by his younger brother Gene. Those who knew Roger would agree that Willies dedication to service of others has bettered: family, friends, neighbors, community and country. He truly will be missed by all.

James Resner, 83, a resident of Elk Grove Village for 39 years was born on December 3, 1934 in Chicago to the late Stanley and the late Marie (nee Tulik) and passed away peacefully on April 30, 2018 in Elk Grove Village. He was a longtime member of St. Julian Eymard Church in Elk Grove Village.

James was the adoring husband of 41 years to Bernadette (nee Comber); he was preceded in death by his brothers Edmund, Leonard and Richard. He was a fond uncle and dear friend to many. He will be missed by all those whose lives he touched.

Mary was proud to have worked for HM Manufacturing Company as an accountant for 33 years.

Marguerite Dorothy Weaver (nee Aylward) 91, a resident of Elk Grove Village for 10 years and formerly of Palatine and Arlington Heights, passed away quietly in her sleep at home on April 22, 2018 in Elk Grove Village.

She was born on May 2, 1926 in Milwaukee, Wisconsin to the late Dr. Thomas J. Aylward II and the late Dorothy (nee Leary). She loved horses, singing, dancing, swimming twice a week for over 20 years, and her garden club. She was a dedicated member of TOPS. She was a volunteer election judge, and was active in politics through women’s and local groups. She and her daughter Mary owned and ran a mailing business.

Marguerite was the adoring wife of twenty-five years to the late Lawrence E. Weaver, loving mother of Mary (Lee) Gouwens, John T. Weaver, DO, Ann Weaver PhD (John Heidemann) and Paul Weaver; beloved grandmother of Sarah, Thomas, and Kenneth Gouwens; fond sister of the late Thomas J. Aylward Jr., PhD. Cousin of Patricia Ley and Cathleen Koch and the late Ward Brady; loving aunt to Mary Miller, Thomas (Jane) Aylward, Kathleen Baker, Matthew (Maureen) Aylward, Peter (Natalie) Aylward, Anne Marie (Brook) Richards, Wendy Aylward, Lex (Christine), Lynn and Brad Shwaiko, Tony (Mary Ellen) and Larry A. David “Dave” Lee Perry, 62, a resident of Elk Grove Village for 11 years was born on October 29, 1955 in Oceana, West Virginia to Henry and Jewell Perry (nee Hawley) and passed away peacefully on April 19, 2018 in Elk Grove Village. He was proud to be from West Virginia and was a Mountaineers fan. He was a member of Prince of Peace Lutheran Church in Schaumburg. He was an avid bowler and a member of the United States Bowling Congress.

Dave was the adoring husband of 11 years to Lynette Perry (nee Burmeister); loving father of Jaime (Frank) Milton, Brandy (Spiro) Giotis, Andrew Perry, Kelsey Perry, Janelle (Max) Krider, Emmalyn (Jonathan) Laxton, John (Sara) Champion and Graham Champion; fond grandfather of Briana Zodda, Thomas Giotis, Sophia Giotis and Aaron Krider; Dear Brother of Henrietta Kuehne and Gary (Donna) Perry; beloved uncle and a friend to many during his journey.
