Peggy Howard, 82, of Schaumburg and formerly of Hoffman Estates, beloved wife, mother, and dear friend to many, passed away on Thursday, March 3 at home surrounded by family. She was born in Nashville, TN to John Morgan and Artie Carlton Stofle.

She is survived by her loving husband of over 35 years, Lee Howard. She was a teacher in Schaumburg for 30 years. She is survived by children David (Jeannette), Jeff (Susan), Judy, Larry (Patti), Jane (Carmen), Richard, Robert (Karen), and Nancy (Brad). She had a sister-in-law Suzanne, 18 grandchildren, 5 great grandchildren, and 9 nieces and nephews.

She met Lee in 1968 and they married in 1980. Theirs was a loving relationship for 48 years. They enjoyed frequent travel and summers in Door County. She will be dearly missed and remembered for her infectious laugh, her quick wit, and her loving ways.

Lois G. Wienberg (nee Gniech), 84, a resident of Schaumburg for 49 years and formerly of Chicago was born on May 8, 1932 in Chicago, IL to Louis and Marie Gniech and passed away peacefully on February 28, 2016 at Lexington Hospice in Wheeling, IL.

Lois grew up in Chicago, Illinois. She is preceded in death by her parents and sister Dorothy. She left behind a loving husband of 52 years, Robert (Bob), a devoted son Jeffrey, and just as devoted daughter-in-law Allison and her number two son, Michael Scavo, she will be missed by all those whose lives she touched.

Bill “Basilios” Vasilios Tziavragos, 76, a resident of Hoffman Estates, IL and Cape Coral, FL for the past 40 years, was born in Paleopyrgos, Greece on March 21, 1939 to Anastasios and Panagiota. He passed away peacefully at his son’s home in Hoffman Estates on February 17th 2016 just a few weeks after being diagnosed with an aggressive form of cancer. Bill enjoyed his time in the states bar-tending at the Billy Goat Tavern & Grill as he was committed to working six days a week to support his family until he retired and moved south to Florida to relax in the sun. When he wasn’t working, he enjoyed cheering on the Chicago Bears, Bulls, Cubs & Blackhawks with family and friends, as well as the occasional trip to Arlington Racetrack.

Bill was the adoring husband of Tina (Katralis); loving father of Tom (Anastasios); fond grandfather of Charlotte; beloved brother of George, Espacia and the late Trifonos; dear friend to many, and he will be missed by all those whose lives he touched. Forever In Our Hearts, Always On Our Minds….

Evelyn V. Kline, 93, of Schaumburg, IL passed peacefully February 21, 2016 at Alexian Brothers Hospice, Elk Grove Village, IL. She was the loving wife of John F. Kline who died April 5, 2007. Born in Shenandoah, PA on November 19, 1922, she was the daughter of the late William J. and Lottie (Bogden) Astromsky. She married husband, John, on Valentine’s Day 1942 and they moved to the Philadelphia area where she worked as a bank teller in Hatboro and a notions buyer for Strawbridge and Clothier in Jenkintown. In 1956 she and husband John moved to the Chicago area where she worked at Wieboldt’s. In Hanover Park, IL, where she spent over 43 years and learned to drive she spent many years as a lunchroom mother at a local grammar school.

She loved her Catholic faith and cherished her membership at St. Peter Damian RC Church where husband John was an usher and they worked together helping with pancake breakfasts and other church related activities.

Her favorite time of year was Halloween where she looked forward to hand making special molded candy treats for the children. Some children who attended her lunchroom who thought her candy treats were so special that many years later brought their children back for the candy.

Evelyn is survived by her daughter, Evelyn M. Koons, of Schaumburg, IL, brother Robert W. (Adelaide) Austra, of E. Stroudsburg, PA and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by a brother William and a sister Regina “Jean” (Edward) Madl, of Northlake, IL and son-in-law, James E. Koons.
