Bruno Stefanski, 85, a resident of Roselle, IL was born on February 7, 1929 and passed away peacefully on October 3, 2014. Bruno was a proud to have served in the US Army during the Korean Conflict.

He was the adoring husband of Elvia (nee Oceguera); loving father of Elizabeth (Paul) Szmergalski, Anna (Henry) Rutkowski, Lily (Jeff) Smith and Joe Stefanski; proud grandfather of 2 grandsons; dear brother of Jadwiga Bocianski and Janine and Stella Stefanska.

Concetta “Connie” “Janet” Trella, (nee Gnoffo), 92, a resident of Alden Poplar Creek was born on June 26, 1922 in Chicago to the late Vincent and the late Mamie (nee Coletti), and passed away peacefully on October 2, 2014 in Hoffman Estates. She raised three children and worked in the restaurant business for 25 years. Upon her retirement, she cared for her aging parents until their deaths.

Connie was the loving mother of Mari Anne (Kurt) Wait, Michael (Suzanne) and Vincent; dear “Nani” to Christopher and Rebecca Wait and Zachary (Elaine); beloved sister of Vincent (Barbara) Gnoffo, the late Salvatore (the late Jean) and the late Russell; dear sister-in-law to Betty (Russell) Gnoffo and the fond aunt of several nieces and nephews. She will be missed by all those whose lives she touched.

Charles M. Blachut, 81, a resident of Arden Courts, Elk Grove and formerly of Des Plaines and Franklin Park, was born on August 13, 1933 in Chicago to the late Walter and the late Mary (nee King), and passed away peacefully August 30, 2014 surrounded by his loving family.

Charles was a graduate of Elmhurst College and received his MBA from the University of Chicago. He was a proud US Army Veteran and worked for People’s Gas Light & Coke for 50 years. He was very active in his children’s lives especially as a Cub Scout Master, Lone Tree Area Girl Scout Council Board Member and in the M-NASR Program, driving his son Dave to endless activities. He was a member of the Chicago Jaycees, St. Gertrude’s Parish in Franklin Park and St. Mary’s Parish in Des Plaines. Charles was always considered a true “Gentleman” by all his caregivers and his family would like to thank Arden Courts for their fantastic and loving care and the staffs at both Manorcare and Alexian Brothers for their wonderful kindness. You were all considered a true blessing.

Charles was the adoring husband of 58 years to the late Doris (nee Hadley); loving father of Lynn (Bill) Kimball and David; proud grandfather of Kristilyn Rehmann; dear brother of Walter, the late Kathleen Trettereno and the late Johanna Wright; beloved uncle and friend to many, he will be missed by all those whose lives he touched.

Virginia was an avid Cub fan; she even made it to spring trainings in Arizona. She loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Her family meant the world to her and she especially loved spending time with her children and grandchildren. She was also an avid gardener. She will be missed by her canine “best friend” “Samatha” and reuniting with “Sophie” and “Molly”.
