Frances “Fannie” T. Slisz (nee Betley), 93, a resident of Elk Grove Village and formerly of Emerald Village, Schaumburg, was born on August 22, 1921 in Chicago to the late Andrew and the late Mary ( nee Jasek), and passed away peacefully at her home in Elk Grove surrounded by her loving family. She loved cooking and working with ceramics.

Fannie was the adoring wife of over 50 years to the late John; loving mother of the late Greg (Florence), Drew (Marjorie) and Michael; dear grandmother of Samantha (Charles) Spencer, Melissa (Mike) Cantal and Michelle; proud great-grandmother of Sofia and Dominic Spencer.

Catherine “Kay” was the loving wife of Robert; beloved mother to Scott (Winnie), René Schreiner and the late Kurt; cherished grandmother to Jacky (Colin) Archer and Mei-Lin Schreiner; dear sister of 9, she is survived by John Milazzo, Jacky (Joel) Forpanek and Mary (Frank) Lullo.

Lester was the adoring husband of Diana (nee Rogalski); loving father of Brian (Kim); dear grandfather of Brianna and Kailey; beloved brother of Eddy (Sophie), Frank (Grace), Stanley (Danuta), Lillian Purta, Christine (Lester) Doniec, the late Bogdan, the late Stefan (Sue) and the late Julia (Stanley) Luberda; fond brother-in-law of the late William Rogalski; favorite uncle and dear friend to many. He will be missed by all those whose lives he touched.

Lois D. Warren (nee Gugelman), 97, was born on June 21, 1917 in Rackett, Nebraska to the late William and the late Mary (nee Johnston), and passed away peacefully at her home on Saturday, December 13, 2014. Lois resided in Aurora for 52 years before moving to Hoffman Estates in 2012. She was a member of New England Congregational Church in Aurora for more than 50 years.

Lois is preceded in death by her adoring husband of 67 years, Robert A. Warren, who was an architect in Aurora for many years. Lois is survived by one sister, Jean Fritz; her daughter, Gail (Matt) Maish and her son, David (Lauren) Warren; her 6 loving grandchildren, Vicki Maish, David (Susan) Maish, Tom (Jamie) Maish, Michael (Emily) Maish, Christopher (Ariana) Warren and Andee (Craig) Mosey Warren; her 10 beautiful great grandchildren and one great-great grandchild. Dear friend to many she will be missed by all those whose lives she touched.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made in Lois’ name to Michigan Parkinson Foundation, or JourneyCare Hospice.

Rosalia was the dear sister to George, Dr. Martin (Carol) and the late David; fond aunt of Emily Scripp, Amanda (Benjamin) Goodness and Stephanie Hagemann; and loving great aunt to Molly and Zachary Goodness. She will be missed by all those whose lives she touched.
