Daniel S. Schade, 69, a resident of Elk Grove Village for 16 years and formerly of Mt. Prospect was born on March 25, 1949 in Philadelphia, PA to the late Alvin and the late Marie (nee Palmer), and passed away suddenly November 9, 2018 in Elk Grove Village. Daniel was a proud Navy Veteran stationed in Italy serving in the 7th Fleet. He was an avid reader, loved playing computer games, was a movie buff and enjoyed dining out and sharing the company of friends.

Daniel was the adoring husband of 48 years to Corinne (nee Stolarz); loving father of Warren and Megan (Steven) Wallen; dear friend to many. He will be missed by all those whose lives he touched including his canine friends “Mikey” and “Mollie”.

Patricia L. Kmak, 71, passed away in her home in Hoffman Estates, IL on November 1st, 2018. “Patti” was born to Victor and Harriet (Lewandowski) Kmak (both deceased), in Charleston, South Carolina on September 13, 1947. She is survived by her sisters: Adele Wallace (Hugh) and Teri Zarat (Ron), and longtime friend Charles Gonchauskas.

She enjoyed spending the holidays and special celebrations with her many God children, nieces, nephews, cousins and aunt.

Patti graduated from Downers Grove North High School in 1965, where she participated on the debate team. She then went to the College of DuPage received an Associate Degree in Administration. Her adult career began working for the Nestle Company. When she retired in 2013, she was the Speaker Coordinator for the the American Veterinarian Medical Association. It was at AVMA she adopted her beloved cat, Prince.

She will always be remembered fondly in our hearts.

Services will be private. In lieu of flowers, please send memorial donations to the American Diabetes Society.

Geraldine B. Heger (nee Ficht) a resident of Schaumburg since 1969 and formerly of Hoffman Estates was born on June 11, 1931 in Chicago to the late Augustine and the late Angeline (nee Sandowski) and passed away peacefully on September 29, 2018 in Elk Grove.

Geraldine was a tireless and selfless person who cared deeply for her family and friends. She had a passion for playing BINGO, gardening, reading romance novels and camping at Fish Lake Beach in Volo, IL. She was the adoring wife of 25 years to the late Joseph; loving mother of Linda, Steven (Jeanne), the late Allan and Laura Carroll; proud grandmother of Christopher and Ashley Heger and Lindsey and Tawny Carroll; dear sister of Lenore (Ernie) Fuesz; dear aunt and friend to many. She will be missed by all those whose lives she touched.

Howard “Howie” A. Wildeboer, 77, was born on April 6, 1941 in Chicago to the late Henry and the late Lillian (nee Porth), and passed away suddenly on September 30, 2018 while on vacation with his son, Ray, and nephew, Billy, at his favorite fishing place, Lake Nokomis, in Tomahawk, Wisconsin.

At Tuley High School in Chicago, he was captain of varsity basketball and football star of his team. He coached football at Portage Park for 12 years with his best friend and sidekick, Chuck Breitenstein. He loved playing Pinochle with Chuck and Tom Mulcahy. He was a life long Cubs and Bears fan. He accepted his many health issues with optimism and without complaint. Loving husband of 57 years to his high school sweetheart, Joyce (nee Pecka); proud father of Denise (the late Glenn) Thuernau: Shari (Steve) Caboor and Ray; fond grandfather of Bee (Mike) Phillips, Megan (Tyler) Bravo and Jeremy and Amy Caboor; dear beloved brother of William (Terri); charming uncle to nieces and nephews and fun-loving cousin and friend of those whose lives he touched.

Shawn M. Little, 36, a resident of Chicago was born on October 3, 1981 in Wheat Ridge, Colorado to his loving parents Martin Little and Marion Knight, and passed away suddenly on September 28, 2018 in Chicago. Shawn was a journeyman ironworker and was a proud member of Iron Workers Local 1 Chicago. He was an avid White Sox fan and a talented artist. His cat “Train” will miss him greatly.

Shawn was the loving father of Savannah Hope; dear brother of Sandi (Troy) English; fond uncle of Ty and Tori English; beloved nephew of Deborah (David) Henninger, Jan and Carolyn, Alan (Connie) Knight, Christine (Michael) Faudel, Pam (Jim) Tusack, the late Thomas Knight and Kenneth Little; loving cousin and dear friend to many. He will be missed by his sweetheart Jessica Engelhart and all those whose lives he touched.
