Eva “Eve” M. Kowalski (nee Drewanz), 66, a resident of Schaumburg and formerly of Elk Grove Village, was born on September 27, 1952 in Wendessen, Gemany to the late Kurt Drewanz and survived by Emilie Drewanz (nee Franke) and passed away peacefully on November 24, 2018 at her home in Schaumburg. She enjoyed traveling and spending time with family and friends.

Eva was the loving mother of Julia (Sean) Gordon; dear sister of Margaret (John) Lowry and Andreas (Yvonne) Drewanz; fond aunt and dear friend to many. She will be missed by all those whose lives she touched.

Lucille Cartina (nee Caccavallo), 79, a resident of Schaumburg and formerly of Chicago, was born on January 9, 1939 in Chicago to the late Fred and Mary (nee Giagnorio), and passed away peacefully on November 24, 2018 at her home in Schaumburg.

Lucille was the adoring wife of 48 years to the late John; loving mother of Gina (Don) Watson, Linda (Sergio) Baez, George, Christine (Caryn) and Vince (Donna); fond grandmother of 14; proud great grandmother of 10; beloved sister of Bianca (Ray) Ramicone and the late Mary Frances Caccavallo; cherished aunt and great aunt to 9 and dear friend to many. She will be missed by all those whose lives she touched.

Robert “Bob” A. Ida, 70, a resident of Schaumburg for 30 years, was born on June 10, 1948 in Chicago to the late Stanley and the late Florence (nee Kozeny), and passed away on November 18, 2018 in Schaumburg.

Bob was the adoring husband of 38 years to Linda (nee Kuharchuk); loving father of Brian (Nicole), Jennifer (Matt Moffitt) and Robert (Brianna); proud grandfather of Thomas and August and dear friend to many. Bob was a proud member of the Chicago Corvette Club and dog lover. His dogs Esau, Sam, Tucker and Lily meant the world to him. He will be missed by all those whose lives he touched.

It is with great sadness that the family of Manuel V Garza announces his passing after a brief illness, on Friday, November 16, 2018, at the age 83 years. Manuel will be lovingly remembered by his wife of 53 years, Maria Inez Garza, and his children, Richard, Manual, Emmanuel, Griselda, Adriana, Ricardo, and Andres. Manuel will also be fondly remembered by his 15 grandchildren Yvonne, Yvette, Manuel Jr., Lynette, Ryan, Selina, Michael, James, Amber, Andi, Sophia, Heather, Shelby, Megan and Sara. 27 Great Grandchildren, 3 Great Great grandchildren, 8 siblings, nieces and nephews, extended family and dear friends.

Daniel S. Schade, 69, a resident of Elk Grove Village for 16 years and formerly of Mt. Prospect was born on March 25, 1949 in Philadelphia, PA to the late Alvin and the late Marie (nee Palmer), and passed away suddenly November 9, 2018 in Elk Grove Village. Daniel was a proud Navy Veteran stationed in Italy serving in the 7th Fleet. He was an avid reader, loved playing computer games, was a movie buff and enjoyed dining out and sharing the company of friends.

Daniel was the adoring husband of 48 years to Corinne (nee Stolarz); loving father of Warren and Megan (Steven) Wallen; dear friend to many. He will be missed by all those whose lives he touched including his canine friends “Mikey” and “Mollie”.

Patricia L. Kmak, 71, passed away in her home in Hoffman Estates, IL on November 1st, 2018. “Patti” was born to Victor and Harriet (Lewandowski) Kmak (both deceased), in Charleston, South Carolina on September 13, 1947. She is survived by her sisters: Adele Wallace (Hugh) and Teri Zarat (Ron), and longtime friend Charles Gonchauskas.

She enjoyed spending the holidays and special celebrations with her many God children, nieces, nephews, cousins and aunt.

Patti graduated from Downers Grove North High School in 1965, where she participated on the debate team. She then went to the College of DuPage received an Associate Degree in Administration. Her adult career began working for the Nestle Company. When she retired in 2013, she was the Speaker Coordinator for the the American Veterinarian Medical Association. It was at AVMA she adopted her beloved cat, Prince.

She will always be remembered fondly in our hearts.

Services will be private. In lieu of flowers, please send memorial donations to the American Diabetes Society.
