Michaels Funeral Home & Cremation Care is fully committed to the health and safety of the families we serve, our community, and our staff. The services we deliver are in accordance with guidelines provided to funeral directors by the Centers for Disease Control, and we will continuously monitor for updates and communicate them to you.
To summarize a few of the guidelines related to visitations and funerals:
- Until May 10, gatherings that consist of 50 people or more will be postponed.
- For those services that are held, it is suggested to limit attendance to select family; and anyone who is ill or at-risk (elderly, immune-compromised) is encourage to stay home.
- We also urge attendees to follow recommended good health habits such as social distancing, hand hygiene, covering cough and sneezes, etc. Michaels is providing additional sanitizers and tissues, and will have health safety reminders posted throughout the facility.
Taking steps to manage this health issue will affect everyone, but we are dedicated to helping our community through this situation.
