Beniamino "Benny" Mazzone, 84, a resident of Schaumburg for 8 years and formerly of Chicago was born on June 12, 1926 in Dover, England to the late Gerardo and the late Elizabeth and passed away peacefully January 28, 2012 in Elk Grove Village.
Benny was the adoring husband of over 50 years to the late Christina (nee Campeale); loving father of Doretta (Donald) Schwarz and Jerry Mazzone; loving grandfather of Candice (Alan) Perri, Kate (Nick) Munsen and Cali Shea Mazzone; proud great grandfather of Brennan and Cullen Perri and Hannah Munsen.
Benny was proud to have served in the 58th Field Artillery Battalion in the US Army during the Korean Conflict.
