Grace Marie Petrelli, 85, a resident of Friendship Village and a Schaumburg resident for 37 years was born on February 19, 1926 in Chicago and passed away peacefully on Wednesday, January 11, 2012 at Friendship Village surrounded by her loving family.

Grace was the adoring wife of 36 years to the late John James; loving mother of Mary Jo (Wally) McHugh and JoAnne (Ken) Kilmer; dear grandmother of Jeffrey, Steven (and fiancé Larisa) and Michael McHugh, Dawn and Anthony Rogers and John Fink; proud great grandmother of Jonathon Hall and Quinten Rogers and J.J. Fink; beloved sister of 4; beloved aunt to Mary Sue (Johnny) Giannelli and Barbara; great aunt of Joey, Nicole and Gina and great-great aunt of 5; dear friend of Linda (Jeff) Aiani and the late Lillian, she will be missed by all those whose lives she touched.

She will also be missed by her adopted dog “Frosty”.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Grace’s name to the St. Vincent De Paul Society at St. Marcelline Church.
