Michaels Funeral Home Renovations Complete More spacious, modernized facility SCHAUMBURG, ILLINOIS (November 5, 2013) Michaels Funeral Home of 800 S. Roselle Road in Schaumburg announces the reopening of its facility as of November 21, 2013. Michael Demnicki, owner and director of the funeral home, said that the renovations were inspired by what families had conveyed over the last few years a more open interior with brighter spaces. The renovations, which started early in 2013, included a newly designed raised ceiling with multiple skylights, a new heating/ventilation system, new furnishings and the integration of WiFi and Apple TV technology into the visitation chapels; as well as new sound systems, speakers and microphones. The work was extreme and difficult at times, Michael explains, but the result is beyond my expectations. The space still feels comfortable and personal, but now its brighter and fresher. And the upgraded technology will allow the younger generation to participate and connect in a way that speaks to them. On Thursday, November 21st, Michael will be having an Open House for the entire community from 1:00 pm to 8:00 pm. Hors doevres and refreshments will be served. Michaels Funeral Home has served families throughout Chicagos Northwest suburbs for more than 35 years.
